Subject: Enable signal

Hello Tom.

I have Kflop and Kanalog and three AC Servomotors and Servodrivers. I can't manage the Enable signal to the Servodriver. Excuse me but can you help me?
I'm a rookie and I may do something wrong. I seriously expect to your advice.

My config file and connection scheme are enclosed.

Sincerely yours,

Anton.

Hi Anton,

I think you need to apply +24V to the COM pin 2 signal.  If you look closely there is a symbol that looks like a battery (they show the battery polarity can be either direction).

I Googled and found this:

I don't understand whether 24VS (Pin 1) is an input or output or whether it is isolated or what its purpose even is.  It might be possible to use that.

But the safest thing to do would be to add a small (500ma or higher) external, isolated, 24V Power supply.  Connect the - terminal to Kanalog GND and the + terminal to the drive's COM pin 2 (same as the battery shown in their diagram).

HTH
Regards
TK
